Opening new doors

ROLLC Company for Automatic Doors and Security Systems will be present at The Big 5 Saudi Arabia with some of its latest door products that have been designed to meet the requirements of the market.

It will be promoting high-speed doors that incorporate state-of-the-art German technology from Efaflex. “These doors are extremely robust and use modern technology, which allow them to be operated at high speeds without any recurring maintenance problems,” says Ahmed Al Buraidi, general manager. “Speed, safety and design have been combined to ensure intelligent solutions that are being launched on the market this year.”

These doors, he says, can be used for external and internal applications.

Another new product is an acoustic rolling door, which can be used as a sound barrier in auditoriums.

“The door, which has been tested in the US, meets an STC rating of 34,” he says.

Insulated fire-rated rolling doors are another state-of-the-art innovation from Rollc. The door has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories of the US, he says.

Rollc has also expanded its product line by introducing hollow metal and wooden doors. Hollow metal doors are filled with rockwool.

Rollc is a 100-per-cent Saudi company that was established in 2001. It is specialised in the production and installation of all types of doors, such as industrial, security, fire-rated doors (for two and three hours) and aircraft hangar doors, in addition to hydraulic road blockers, tents and car-park shades (made from PVC).

Its broad portfolio of products and systems for video surveillance, access control, and intrusion in use at major government projects throughout Saudi Arabia.

The company employs qualified staff with extensive experience in the doors and tents industry. Its engineers and technicians have been trained in major specialized European companies.

Rollc makes continuous efforts to develop products by consulting and working together with other companies and introduces new product lines that meet the needs of the regional market.

One such product introduced in 2008 was architectural membrane structures made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride).

It manufactures products to high-quality standards on a sophisticated production line that uses 100 per cent German technologies, which has ensured the success of Rollc. It uses the feedback provided by its customers to develop products, which has reflected positively in the quality of the company’s products.

Since its inception, the company has provided services to hundreds of clients all over Saudi Arabia and internationally. These include the King Khalid International Airport, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Kaust), Princess Nora University for Women (PNU), Ministry of Finance administration complex, Nakheel Riyadh, National Guard, Saudi Aramco, Binladin and various housing facilities.

It has also manufactured and installed private aircraft hangar doors at the airports in Riyadh and Jeddah, as well as aircraft gates at air bases, including Al Kharj air base.

Rollc has a presence all over the Middle East, having established many branches and distributors in the region as part of its regional and international expansion strategy.
