LONA Real Estate Development has appointed Impact Estate to launch Amwaj Waves, a luxury residential complex, at the Gulf Property Show, which takes place at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Bahrain this month (May 6 to 8).

Substantial progress has been made on the project, with the first two buildings scheduled for opening to the public in February 2015.

Amwaj Waves is set in the heart of Amwaj Islands north of Muharraq island in close proximity to the waterfront and a walking distance to the Lagoon with its array of shops and restaurants. The project comprises two 13- and two seven-storey buildings featuring stunning contemporary architectural design.

“This is a unique and prestigious project, now almost completed, which I am very proud to be involved in,” says Chris Woodrow, Lona’s projects director.

A significant portion of the buildings will be developed as a luxury serviced apartment complex called The Gulf Residence Amwaj, to be operated by the Gulf Hotels Group, which is scheduled to open its doors early next year. The remaining units in the buildings will be for residential sale, with the 13-storey building that boasts 87 spacious apartments – some with stunning sea views – available for purchase by private investors.
