The H20kinetic ... water in a wave pattern; and Delta’s Addison faucet (below) ... high demand.

DELTA Faucet Company, which witnessed solid double-digit growth in the Middle East last year in terms of sales figures, continues to make further inroads in the region through strengthening its partnerships and introducing a number of innovative solutions.

The global leader in residential and commercial faucets recently introduced its Proximity Sensing Technology, which offers responsive hands-free functionality, and the Touch2O Technology that allows users to switch on a faucet with a single touch, said Ross Jackson, Delta Faucet Company’s general manager for the Mena (Middle East and North Africa) region.

The company also offers a selection of showerheads that incorporate the H2Okinetic Technology, which sculpts water into a unique wave pattern, creating the impression of a larger volume of water than a standard shower flowing at the same rate.

“By anticipating consumer’s needs, Delta Faucet Company develops products with creative and inspirational design. We are committed to providing a smarter way for people to experience water usage through faucet and shower solutions that are both aesthetically pleasing and promote water conservation,” said Jackson.

In the Middle East, Delta Faucet has established its position at the forefront of environmental initiatives by engaging with leading architects, government entities and educational institutions to create a holistic approach to sustainability design.

“Our Diamond Seal products that combine a durable Diamond Valve (a ceramic cartridge embedded with diamonds) with InnoFlex PEX waterways have been very well received in the regional market. The valve requires no lubrication, eliminates wear on seals, and ensures operation for the life of the faucet, lasting up to 10 times longer than the industry standard,” said Jackson.

“Popular kitchen faucets include select models from our Addison, Trinsic, Linden, Fuse, Pilar and Cassidy ranges, while our Addison and Lahara bath faucets have also been in high demand. Our Elemetro bathroom collection, which uses mould brass casting and a ceramic valve for years of trouble-free operation, offers a variety of simple and contemporary designs that also appeal to a wide audience.”

Due to the versatility of its products, Delta Faucet Company designs can be found in both residential and commercial properties including Danat Al Emarat Women and Children’s Hospital, the Rolex Tower (Twin Towers – Dubai), Al Khaleej Palace Hotel (Dubai), Dubai International Airport (Terminal Two), Jumeirah Lake Tower (Dubai), Kempinski Hotel (Bahrain), and an Aramco building in Dammam.

“We are currently working on fitting out a prominent residential project in Dubai, and a hospitality project within the region, both of which are yet to be officially announced. Further details on these projects will be shared in due course,” he said.

He continued: “Our focus mainly has been on implementing our regional expansion strategy, which came into fruition with the establishment of Delta Faucet Company’s regional headquarters in the JLT (Jumeirah Lake Towers) Free Zone in September of last year, and a showroom in Dubai in November of last year as well. This year we opened our first showroom in Oman, in partnership with Tameer for Ideal Projects (Ideal Home), in March.

“Delta Faucet Company’s innovative approach to faucet and showerhead design, which incorporates both form and functionality, has definitely given us a competitive edge that has only been reinforced by our commitment to the region.”

The company, he continued, has been doing well in the region. “We have experienced solid double-digit growth in terms of sales figures, over the last year. In addition, we have strengthened our partnerships in the region, which has put us in an ideal position for further development in 2014.

“We are working on several exciting projects around the region, which we are looking forward to announcing in the very near future. In addition, towards the end of the year, we will be launching new product ranges that truly capture Delta Faucet Company’s strengths in innovative leadership and quality,” he added.

The UAE and Saudi Arabia, according to Jackson, have been highly lucrative markets for the Delta Faucet Company, although it has also received great support from Oman and Jordan. “In addition, we have formed new partnerships in Qatar and Bahrain and, in light of these new collaborations, we are looking forward to surpassing our sales targets for the region and building a stronger brand.

“Dubai is experiencing tremendous change in the run-up to Expo 2020. Within the hospitality sector, we are already seeing an incredibly healthy pipeline of projects, with an estimated 14,000 rooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi actively under construction. Saudi Arabia also has great potential, with approximately 15,300 rooms in the pipeline, and we anticipate that this trend will also manifest in Qatar, in the lead up to Qatar 2022.

“Hospitality is one of our primary sectors for 2014 and we at Delta Faucet Company look forward to supporting the growth, from a design perspective, by offering products that encompass both form and functionality,” he concluded.
