THE inaugural edition of Metal Middle East 2015 will be held this month (January 10 to 13) in Dubai, UAE, amidst anticipation that the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region will become an important global centre for producing iron and steel in the next five to 10 years.

The international trade fair for metallurgical technology, thermo process technology, foundry machinery and metal working tools will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Dicec).

“Iron and steel producing countries, especially in Europe, represent a promising new market for Dubai exports,” said Satish Khanna, general manager, Al Fajer Information and Services, which is holding the event in association with German exhibition organiser Messe Dusseldorf.
