ITALY’S wood and furniture federation FederlegnoArredo will tap gulfInteriors as a B2B (business-to-business) networking platform for leading Italian companies taking part in the show this year.

FederlegnoArredo is the B2B partner for the trade delegation comprising five Italian companies – Gibus, Holz Albertani, Design Porte, Valdichenti and Cantiero – which are visiting Bahrain as well as Saudi Arabia to introduce their products to these markets, HCE said.

The presentations on May 13 will be hosted by Italy’s ambassador to Bahrain, Alberto Vecchi.

“As the major trade association for the Italian furniture manufacturers, Federlegno  is always looking to access unique business opportunities for our members. The delegation to Bahrain will not only be able to analyse the market through site visits, but also by their involvement at the exhibition where they will have B2B appointments and gain public feedback from visitors about the suitability of their products for the market,” said Stefano Alberzoni of FederlegnoArredo.

Gibus is Italy’s leading producer and supplier of sun awnings, pergolas, technical blinds and furniture accessories. Holz Albertani designs, supplies and constructs integrated building solutions with structural timber such as Glulam (GL) cross-laminated timber (CLT) and engineered wood structures. Cantiero’s products – which were recently modernised and branded as Dale Italia – are in great demand throughout Europe and North America.

New Design Porte manufactures high quality wood furniture and door components. Valdichenti specialises in sophisticated high quality upholstered interior furniture.
