myRoom lighting solution enhances experience.

Lutron, a global lighting control expert, launched in Dubai its innovative lighting, temperature and shading control solutions, myRoom, for the Middle East hotel industry.

US-based Lutron works with most of the major hotel groups in the key hospitality markets around the world, including the GCC, providing control systems for guestrooms, public areas, restaurants and amenities such as spas and conference facilities, as well as back-of-house.

Lutron said myRoom solutions will help the hotels in the region to reduce energy consumption and manage costs, while enhancing guest experience and comfort by offering a high degree of personal control over the guest room environment.

In addition, these solutions utilise guest presence detection to save energy by turning lights off when a room is unoccupied or initiating HVAC (heating, ventilation, air-conditioning) setbacks when a room is unsold.

myRoom is a guestroom management system for light, temperature and blind control that integrates with property management and building management systems.

Lutron said the solutions feature contemporary designed, energy-efficient control options that help differentiate a property or hotel, where guests can step into a room in which lights and shades automatically adjust to a predetermined welcome scene.

Lutron intuitive control solutions also ensure that guests can easily adjust the environment with a touch of a button, allowing tactile and audible feedback, automatic programming, control and comfort.

From dimmers for the home, to lighting management systems for entire buildings, the company offers more than 17,000 energy-saving products.
