Global equipment solutions provider Terex Compact UK will showcase a number of new additions to its compact equipment portfolio at this year’s bauma exhibition at the Messe München trade fair centre in Germany.

Products include a new site dumper – the TA9SP – alongside a new addition to its 2016 backhoe loader portfolio, the TLB830.

Paul Macpherson, sales and marketing director at Terex Compact UK’s Coventry facility, comments: “As the largest trade fair in the world, bauma is a key date in our events calendar. We’re looking forward to sharing our latest range of compaction rollers, site dumpers and backhoe loaders with visitors to the event, alongside showcasing a number of new technology and engine updates for 2016.”

The TA9SP provides new swivel tip functionality for a nine-tonne payload class machine and showcases a new powershift transmission, combined with innovative auto-shift technology. The model will also highlight a patent-pending Stop-Start technology feature, providing new benefits to machine ownership.

A revolutionary addition to the Terex Compact UK backhoe loader range is the TLB830. The machine has been specifically designed with the rental marketplace in mind. “Versatile, innovative and cost efficient, the TLB830 has been engineered to excel in digging, reaching, lifting and loading applications,” says the spokesman.

Terex Washing Systems, Terex Cranes, Terex Minerals Processing Systems, Terex Aerial Work Platforms and Terex Compact Germany will all be exhibiting at the event.

Terex Corporation is a lifting and material handling solutions company reporting in five business segments – aerial work platforms, construction, cranes, material handling and port solutions, and materials processing.

Meanwhile, Genie a brand owned by Terex Corporation, will be celebrating its golden milestone at bauma 2016 with four new products among up to 20 of its latest and most popular models.

Featuring new working heights, extra capacities, advanced power-source technologies and increased operator protection and comfort solutions, this year’s show will stage the premier of two new Genie Z-boom lifts – a new GTH-telehandler and a redesigned Genie vertical mast lift – the details of which will be unveiled closer to the show.

“Marking half a century serving aerial markets around the world, from Bud Bushnell’s garage in 1966, to the 4,500 team members serving customers around the world today, our customers have trusted us and helped us build and define the aerial industry, to offer people ways to work at height safely,” says Matt Fearon, President Terex AWP.

“Genie is the story of teamwork, and it is through working with our customers that we will continue to find new solutions and opportunities to take them higher. For us, 50 years is just the beginning, the best is yet to come.”

In addition to a host of birthday surprises, throughout the event, Genie team specialists will be on hand for customers to learn how its new maintenance protocol and time-proven Genie Service Solutions (GSS) offering can simplify and make their business more profitable. Genie will be presenting new territories where GSS is now in action to significantly increase machine uptime and raise rates of utilisation, to increase the profitability of rental fleets by reducing maintenance costs by up to 25 per cent.
