Idea40 ... one of the latest designs from Snaidero.

Italian made-to-measure kitchen design brand Snaidero recently opened its flagship studio in Dubai Design District, d3, the region’s prestigious creative design hub.

Seen as a crucial investment for the brand, the move is part of its international expansion strategy and aligns with the projected growth anticipated with the upcoming Expo 2020. The company has been exporting its kitchens all over the globe for more than 50 years through a network of 250 specialist stores across 80 countries.

This year marks Snaidero’s 70th anniversary and will see the brand gain a strong foothold in the Middle East market.

The showroom, a fine recreation of Snaidero’s distinctive design style, provides a complete overview of its exclusive kitchen design range that is made in Italy with meticulous attention to detail and selection of the finest materials.

“The space is a perfect embodiment of style, creativity, elegance and good taste –qualities that Italian products are recognised for throughout the world,” said a spokesman for Snaidero.

Leading architects and designers were present at the opening along with Edi Snaidero, president and CEO of Snaidero, and Paolo Pininfarina, chairman of Pininfarina. The two companies have been designing kitchens together for over 25 years.

The two star brands in the history of Italian industrial design have, under the vision of its founders, grown from small artisan status to a high-level industry, burnishing the unique image of Italian manufacturing all over the world.

Speaking at the event, Pininfarina said: “A passion for design is the glue that has kept Snaidero and Pininfarina together for over 25 years. It is an alliance that has generated state-of-the-art projects, both in the way they look and in the way they work. Our collaborative designs are innovative and iconic and it is bound to appeal to Dubai’s predilection for refinement.”

The 2,000-sq-ft flagship studio offers kitchen design services and showcases the best of Snaidero kitchen design including the Ola20 and Idea40 kitchens, two of the most recent creations of the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
