Gulf Property Show enhances global stature

May 2016

The Gulf Property Show, which attracted sponsors and participants as far afield as Turkey, the UAE, Thailand, the US and the UK, raised its regional and international profile by serving as a launch pad for local and international real estate projects.

International participant Result Plus Media used the event for the global launch of The Rich Nana tower in Bangkok, Thailand.

Nisha Chulasukontha, the firm’s managing director said: “The Gulf Property Show has achieved a reputation for being the boutique real estate trading event for the Gulf.”

Bahrain’s Al Ma’awdah Group launched a BD22-million ($58.35 million) luxury residential project. Called Residence Sharq, the project is being built over a 17,080 sq m at Dilmunia off Muharraq Island in Bahrain.

Another local firm Manara Developments Company showcased three of its major residential projects in Bahrain – including Hasabi, a large mixed-use project in the south of the country, Wahati within the Wahat Al Muharraq project and Kenaz Al Bahrain in the Northern Governorate. Exhibitors such as Bin Faqeeh Real Estate Investment Company emphasised affordability without any compromise in quality.

Eagle Hills’ stand caught the visitors’ fancy with a number of its international developments, including a range of premium quality lifestyle communities in high growth markets. These included The Address Fujairah Resort + Spa in the UAE, and Marsa Zayed, Saraya Aqaba and The St Regis in Jordan.

The Gulf Property Show was sponsored by Manara Developments and Diyar Al Muharraq in association with Bahrain Property Developers Association (BaPDA).
