EPIC Piping, one of the largest pipe fabrication organisations in the world, is set to commence operations at a 400,000-sq-ft facility in Abu Dhabi, UAE, marking an important development for the company’s international expansion and overall manufacturing capabilities.

The addition of the state-of-the-art, large-scale facility will allow EPIC to expand production to more than 20,000 spools per month with a total global fabrication capacity exceeding one million sq ft. The company currently operates four facilities across North America.

“We are excited to announce our global growth through the expansion of EPIC into the Middle East,” says Remi Bonnecaze, chief operating officer of EPIC.

“This expansion allows us to better meet our clients’ growing global needs by increasing our production capabilities and enabling us to take on larger projects. The team at EPIC has deep industry expertise and a proven track record in offering best-in-class customer service and operational excellence.”

The facility will be managed by Mazen Azizieh, president of international fabrication at EPIC, and a team of highly experienced individuals with local relationships and operational expertise.

EPIC Piping is owned by a group of investors led by Bernhard Capital Partners, an operationally-focused private equity firm dedicated to investing across the energy services spectrum.

EPIC has been working for over 26 years servicing the power, chemical, refining, offshore and oil and gas industries. The company’s fabrication capabilities include: carbon steel, chrome moly, stainless steels, duplex steels, nickel based alloys, and jacketed piping.
