Doha’s Mall of Qatar (MOQ), which was built at an investment of $1.4 billion, will open its doors on October 29.

Expected to receive a footfall of 20 million customers annually, the mall has 500 shops including over 100 food and beverage (F&B) outlets and 7,000 underground and surface car-parking spaces.

MOQ will premiere the world’s first resident troupe, performing live shows on a 360-degree rotating festival stage with theatrical sound and lighting and animated water features.

The mall’s 19-screen cineplex will include the latest 4D projection technology screen and seven VIP screens on three levels, an eight-lane bowling alley and in-theatre gourmet food service. The mall will have a family entertainment complex spread over 16,500 sq m for children and adults. The complex also has a five-star luxury hotel – Curio, a Collection by Hilton.
