Lintec, a leading German manufacturer of asphalt and concrete mixing plants, has seen its innovative concrete mixing plants used on a variety of projects worldwide, right from the UAE to Brazil.

“We have been serving big infrastructure projects like the Palm Island in Dubai, onshore wind farms in Brazil and recently European’s biggest water construction project in northern Germany,” says a spokesman for the company.

Lintec claims to be the only manufacturer worldwide to produce all its mixing plants in 100 per cent ISO sea containers, which means its units can reduce transport cost by up to 70 per cent in comparison to conventional (non-containerised) plants.

“We offer the customer complete test erection and the opportunity of final acceptance at the production facility before transportation,” says the spokesman.

Lintec plants offer quick assembly and dismantling due to their modular construction, while extensive concrete foundations are not required in case of standard configuration. All Lintec plants follow industry leading environment, health and safety features by design, for example, safe access via integrated staircase or complete housing of the plant.

Lintec is currently promoting its CC 3000 B, an advanced batch mix plant with a capacity of 120 cu m per hour. The plant is designed in 100 per cent IS0 sea containers to ensure highest mobility and a fast set-up at the job site. Lintec plants are meant for job sites where high reliability together with low operating costs is needed, he adds.

The CC 3000 B plant meets international regulations and specifications and has been updated to the latest technical developments in electronics and software, he says.

Meanwhile, Lintec’s revolutionary Aggregate Cooling System (ACS) is available for concrete batching plants. Using a patented system in line with simple physics by using natural evaporation and the ambient temperature, the ACS is able to reduce operating costs to cool down concrete in hot and sub-Saharan regions by 50 per cent, the spokesman says.

“By replacing traditional wet ice and flake ice plants, this solution allows a smoother production planning and longer production times in hot environments,” he adds.

ACS is available for new Lintec concrete batching plants, for retrofitting Lintec plants and can be customised for other brands.

Its asphalt mixing plants include the Lintec CSD 1200, which is optimised to meet the requirements of smaller projects. The containerised design ensures high mobility while equally meeting most advanced safety standards. “Its patented screen drum technology reduces energy consumption by 15 per cent. Easy maintenance and a very advanced control system makes the CSD 1200 the preferred asphalt mixing plant in most parts of the world,” he says.

Lintec offers a full line-up of containerised asphalt batching plants from 80 to 400 tonnes per hour (tph) with the patented screen drum technology (up to 240 tph) or the traditional drying drum with hot elevator and screening machine (up to 400 tph) as well as concrete batching plants from 60 to 240 cu m per hour.
