ACO cast iron floor drains.

ACO Dubai, part of the global ACO Group, has recently launched the manufacture and supply of its new building drainage products.

It now offers a range of cast iron floor drains to suit almost any application, from pedestrian areas to commercial or residential buildings.

“Nickel bronze floor gratings and covers are available both as screw-fastened and hinged options and there are a number of outlet sizes available,” says a spokesman for the leading manufacturer of drainage systems.

He says adjustable height tops accommodate various floor levels as well as clamping rings suitable for different waterproof membranes.

ACO’s new drains have many advantageous features. These have a wide application range with vertical and horizontal outlet options in different sizes. The drains have screw-fastened/hinged grates and covers.

Durability is another feature with the drain bodies being powder coated that are tested to withstand salt spray test for 200 hours as per standard ASTM B 117.

Additionally, the push-on gasket connections and popular no-hub connection options make the drain easy to install. They are also designed with minimal fasteners for easy assembly and maintenance. The neoprene plugs and an optional stainless steel silt basket makes cleaning of drains easy.

The ACO drain is fully adjustable. Its reversible membrane clamp ring allows a wide range of height adjustments. Threaded frames and slotted clamp rings allow for fine adjustments to match a wide option of finished flooring.

The ACO group, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of corrosion-resistant polymer concrete and stainless steel drainage systems for external and internal applications, entered in the region 25 years ago. In 2006, it opened an office and warehouse in Dubai and later established a separate company, ACO Systems, in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

In 2010, ACO Systems built a manufacturing unit in Dubai to produce stainless steel products especially for the Middle East market. In 2014, the company opened its Middle East headquarters and a new factory in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
