Sommer Precast Technology from Germany will be returning to The Big 5 show in Dubai, UAE, this year to cash in on the market potential of the region.

Established in 1999 with a head office in Altheim, Germany, Sommer Precast offers production engineering and automation systems for the prefabricated concrete element industry.

Sommer Precast Technology regards itself as a leading supplier of production technology to the precast concrete industry. For decades, Sommer has supported and helped advance the precast concrete industry with its innovative solutions in robotics and automation of production lines and machinery.

Company sales manager Jan Jaap van der Neut says the company intends to promote a wide range of products at the exhibition. This will include stationary production lines, folding pallets and tilting tables; pallet circulation plants for the production of slabs, double and massive walls in normal and light concrete; shuttle processing plant (SPP); multi-function shuttering robots (MFSR); and insulation-process-application robots (IPAR).

Also promoted at the show will be field factories for the production of elements on the construction site; fully automated production systems of multi-layer concrete elements (JFI method); shuttering for special-purpose elements, such as variable rectangular shuttering, garage shuttering, transformer stations and moulds for rooms; and shuttering for skeleton structures, such as moulds for columns, moulds for girders and moulds for TT-elements.

In addition, Sommer Precast’s stand will showcase transport and handling systems; accessories, such as shuttering and magnetic systems; control systems; and special machines to meet customers’ requirements.

Sommer Precast will be exhibiting at Stand H44 at The Big 5, which will be held next month (November 21 to 24).
