The Abu Dhabi City Municipality has invited developers to submit proposals for car-parking projects across the UAE’s capital city based on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) investment model.

The facilities will be part of the municipality’s smart parking initiative to create an integrated car-parking project, alleviating congested areas of the city.

All the projects will be executed under a Musataha contract, which entitles developers to benefit from the land and facilities for 32 years following which their ownership will be revert to the municipality. The last date for submitting the bids is August 4, the municipality said.
