What’s new

Tapping the bathroom zone

One of Treemme Rubinetterie’s most representative and successful faucet ranges, 5MM, will see new launches this year.

Designed by Giampiero Castagnoli, Emanuel Gargano and Marco Fagioli, the collection stands out for its design. 5MM derives its name from its constant thickness, not only when the water comes out from the tap, but also internally during the passage in all its mixing dynamics.

“In 2017, the company will be launching new and elegant satin-finish stainless steel sink mixers, thus completing its already wide bathroom range, which consists of numerous models for sinks, bathtubs, bidets, showers, and furnishing accessories – all of which stand out for their great attention to design,” says a spokesman for the Italian company.

He says for Treemme Rubinetterie, 5MM is an ever-evolving project always enriched with new elements. It’s not just about the bathroom anymore but about kitchen as well.

“Therefore, the 5MM collection will set the benchmark for your home taps, from the bathroom to the kitchen, so as to provide your rooms with a defined identity.”

In the past few years, this collection has won important awards, such as the recent ADI Compasso D’Oro, Design Plus in 2013, German Design Award, ADI Index, Grandesign Etico, and Red Dot Design Award in 2014.

Lawrence ... versatile.

Get comfortable with Lawrence

The Lawrence seating system from Minotti is extremely versatile and allows for the creation of multi-functional compositions that bring understated elegance to settings that reflect different tastes.

Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, Lawrence comes in two versions, with either a high or low armrest. Each one correlates to a different design aesthetic. The high armrest is thinner than the low one which, in addition to being more substantial, is the perfect place to rest the cushion in order to lie comfortably on the sofa.

The Lawrence ‘Clan’ elements feature modern, graphic stitching designs that lend a more dynamic rhythm to compositions and invite the creation of living room decor with a fresher, more contemporary vibe, according to a spokesman for the Italian manufacturer.

The elegant metal perimeter frame with black-nickel finish emphasises the formal aesthetic of the Lawrence sofa, while a set-back perimeter base in metal alloy with painted black finish supports the sofa and gives it the appearance of floating above the floor, while also protecting its lower part.

Quadro ... elegant.

Timeless kitchen cabinets

The Quadro kitchen collection from Aran Cucine of Itlay are characterised by a 12-mm frame, which gives the doors an elegant and timeless style.

The cabinets are available in two versions – with handles or with concave recess openings – with colour being a dominant aspect. Quadro models are made from MDF (medium-density fibreboard) and covered in polymeric sheet.

“Quadro combines the harmony of lines, materials and finishes with the search for perfection of shapes and volume,” says a company spokesman.

The cabinets have a matt dust green composition with a 146.3-cm-thick columns unit and island, dark brown c-channel and plinth. The wall cabinets are fitted with Jhon Stop-sol glass and the bookcase with black fill frame and zinc yellow shelves. The worktop is made from 2-cm-thick hi-tech laminate with a volcano 145 finish, while the Martin table and mink oak chairs are in dark oak.
