The shows attracted 8,500 visitors last year.

The trio of exhibitions that brings the best in the construction, interiors and property sectors is set to open next month (April 24 to 26) in Bahrain, continuing the success of the only integrated B2B and B2C platforms for these sectors in the Northern Gulf.

The exhibitions comprise the Gulf Construction Expo (GC Expo), the Interiors Expo and the Gulf Property Show, and will be held under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister of Bahrain, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Some big names from various industries have lent their support to the events, expressing their confidence in them and endorsing them as the only integrated B2B and B2C platforms for the construction, interior and property sectors in the Northern Gulf, according to Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the organiser of the events.

The shows have also partnered closely with the region’s leading construction magazine Gulf Construction to develop a greater concentration on promoting the construction and building materials sectors.

Interiors will this year have the new Interiors Shopper segment.

Interiors will this year have the new Interiors Shopper segment.

“GC Expo will build on the successful foundations set by previous shows,  by continuing to deliver the Northern Gulf’s showcase for the construction sector to a targeted visitor base of property developers, interior designers, architects, consultants and contractors, procurement managers and investors from around the GCC,” said Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of HCE.  “The expo will remain an innovative showcase for the construction sector through its added value benefits and virtual exhibition.”

This year, Kavalani and Sons and Haji Hassan Group are the Strategic Sponsors for GC Expo, and Al Nisr Aluminium and Amna Insulations are the Sector Sponsors.

The Strategic Sponsors for the Gulf Property Show are Diyar Al Muharraq, Manara Developments, GFH Properties, Eagle Hills, and Metropolitan Holding; Residence Sharq (Al Maawdah) is the Diamond Sponsor; and Amfa Real Estate and First Bahrain are the Gold Sponsors.

Interiors exhibition is being supported by Hempel Paints and Bukokko Group (Italian Company) as the Strategic Sponsors.

The former Gulf Interiors exhibition is now simply called Interiors Expo. “This change has been taken as a result of years of experience in the market promoting the burgeoning GCC’s home-grown interior brands,” said Abdulrahman. “Regardless of tastes and styles for our homes or offices, we all just consider this to be an expression of ‘Interiors’.”

Making its debut this year at Interiors Expo is a new segment, ‘Interiors Shopper’, which according to HCE exhibitions director Ahmed Suleiman provides an innovative sales outlet which is “quite simply the showcase for all things related to décor, furnishings and design for sale at discounted prices”.

“Interiors Shopper will provide small and large companies and designers an outlet to sell their Interiors Products directly to the 8,500 visitors that visit the expos,” commented Abdulrahman.

Interiors will see Bahrain’s home-grown talent, such as Fatima Al Ansari Design and Execution and Mobilia Uno showcase their services. Meanwhile, debutant international companies include World Tricot of France, JK Cement from the UAE, and Tanatel Furniture Company from Saudi Arabia, to name a few.

For the Gulf Property Show, a dedicated property search engine is now online. The search feature aims to promote the real estate inventory of exhibitors, besides aiding exhibitors and visitors to buy property before the show in April.

The Property Search features properties and developments for sale such as Marassi Residences, The Address, Bahrain Marina, Residence Sharq, Durrat Al Bahrain and Burj Kadi.

“The aim of the Gulf Property search engine and website is to help to generate leads prior to the show as well as for up to six months after the event,” said Abdulrahman.

Last year, as many as 140 local, regional and international exhibitors took part at the events.
