For the MAG 230 residential landmark, to be developed in the heart of Dubailand, MAG LD has recently awarded a Dh300-million ($82 million) main construction contract to Seidco General Contracting, which is now working on its construction.

In addition to being part of the masterplan for ‘City of Arabia’, MAG 230 is designed to be an independent complex  with 595 luxury apartments and will have access to the metro system, says the company.

MAG Group says it is forging ahead on the landmark development with 23 per cent of the project already being finalised. The construction is progressing in line with the Q4 2019 completion date.

Seidco General Contracting has reached a major milestone at MAG 230 by completing the concrete raft slab and commencing construction on the vertical elements. Eight concrete pumps worked day and night for three days to make this headway.

CEO Talal Moafaq Al Gaddah says: “At MAG LD, we are committed to delivering our projects on time and to the exceptionally high standards that we promise all our customers.”

“We call ourselves developers when we hand over the keys and everything we do is geared toward reaching that important moment entirely according to plan. We are pleased to be progressing work at this project in partnership with a leading contractor,” he adds.

MAG 318

MAG LD has appointed Dutch Foundation as the enabling contractor for its Dh550-million ($150 million) MAG 318, which is coming up in Business Bay.

The mixed-use luxury residential tower features 439 residential units including studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments with private balconies that overlook Dubai Water Canal and Downtown Dubai.

MAG LD says construction is in full swing as planned and Dutch Foundation had received its shoring permit, with mobilisation scheduled to start very soon. The project is well on track for timely completion by the fourth quarter of 2019.

The development features modern facilities including a swimming pool, outdoor leisure facilities, a children’s area, a social activities centre, a coffee shop and 18,000 sq ft of retail space. For commuters, MAG 318 offers convenient access to the metro station and Business Bay.
