Kuwait government has awarded a major operation and mangement contract to Korea’s Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) for its new Terminal Four (T4), reported state news agency Kuna.

Kuwait Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) said as per the agreement, the IIAC will operate, manage, maintain and develop the new Terminal Four (T4) at Kuwait International Airport.

The T4, which is being specified for the national carrier Kuwait Airways, is set to start operations within the next three months. It has 14 gates and aims to reducing the traffic on the current terminal. It has been designed to handle 4.5 million passengers per year, the report added.
