Focus on heritage at Langham in Dubai

July 2018

The interior design and styling of the luxury residences at Langham Place Downtown Dubai have finally been revealed by UAE developer Omniyat.

Part of The Langham Downtown Dubai hotel, Langham Place Residences will offer a luxury lifestyle befitting of the famous hospitality name and will be the iconic brand’s first presence in the region.

The design and luxurious interiors evoke the legendary brand’s 150-year heritage, as Omniyat confirms that apartments will come fully-furnished.

A first look reveals a soft colour palette of cremes, browns and blues, with a predominant use of wood for the flooring, walls and doors.

The first look of a show apartment of the Langham Place Residences Downtown Dubai reveals a soft colour palette of cremes, browns and blues. Extensive use has been made of wood for the flooring, walls and doors, while discreet ceiling spotlights work in unison with low-hanging feature lighting.

In the master bedroom, an abstract work of art doubles as the lengthy headboard with modern bedside lamps hovering from the ceiling. Blackout curtains and sheers are electronically operated from a wall switch. One side of the large walk-in wardrobe doubles as a make-up area, before leading into the splendid marble-walled ensuite bathroom.

Mark Phoenix, managing director at Omniyat, says: “It’s been fantastic to work so closely with the Langham’s design team in perfecting the Langham Place Residences. These high-end homes will be unique in the region and offer buyers the chance to invest in a legendary brand, complete with the little touch points that make the narrative of The Langham so strong.”

The Langham Downtown Dubai and Langham Place Residences will be situated in the heart of the Marasi development on the banks of Dubai Canal, with stunning views of the new marina on one side and Burj Khalifa on the other. It will comprise a 167-room hotel with 239 fully-serviced five-star residences, ranging from one-, two- and three-bedroom suites to duplex penthouses when completed in the third quarter of 2020.

The Langham Hotel London was frequented by many of history’s most famous names, including Sir Winston Churchill, Charles de Gaulle, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Napoleon III, Princess Diana and Wallis Simpson.

Established in 2005, Omniyat has a strong track record in delivering high quality projects, with a development portfolio of over $6.2 billion.
