Eagle Hills Diyar, the masterplanner of the kingdom’s iconic waterfront development Marassi Al Bahrain, has awarded a major contract to a joint venture of Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast and Cebarco Bahrain for the  construction of Marassi Galleria, Vida Hotel and Serviced Apartments.

Marassi Galleria is a 200,000-sq-m shopping and entertainment destination which offers a range of entertainment facilities. It will be linked to two luxury hotels and serviced residences projects – The Address Marassi Al Bahrain and The Address Residences Marassi Al Bahrain operated by The Address Hotels + Resorts, and Vida Marassi Al Bahrain and Vida Residences Marassi Al Bahrain by Vida Hotels and Resorts.

The construction deal was jointly signed by Eagle Hills CEO Low Ping, Eagle Hills Diyar managing director Dr Maher Al Shaer, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast vice-president Rajeev Kaul and Cebarco Bahrain CEO Dr Khaled Mohamed Abdulrahim at a recent ceremony held in Marassi Al Bahrain Sales Centre.

“This contract award is a momentous occasion for us and a result of a meticulous selection process. We are confident that the project will be delivered on schedule and to the highest of standards,” remarked Ping.

Dr Al Shaer said: “Eagle Hills Diyar is excited to start the construction works on Marassi Galleria, which will set a new benchmark in Bahrain providing residents with a world-class shopping and entertainment destination at their doorstep.”
