Al Mekdad ... committed to delivering high-quality products.

In line with its ambitions of achieving 100 per cent sales growth in the region this year, Hueck Middle East (ME) Aluminium Systems has set up a new office in Dubai, UAE.  The leading aluminium solutions provider has also launched its latest technological innovation, the Hueck Lambda Silent Air I, in the market.

The new window solution is a genuine alternative to conventional sound-proof windows that only reduce sound pressure while they are closed, states a senior official of the company.

“Hueck Lambda Silent Air I is an innovative window solution that can effectively reduce noise, while providing natural ventilation at the same time,” Modar Al Mekdad, managing partner of Hueck Middle East, tells Gulf Construction. “The sound-proof system is designed to be installed in bedrooms, living rooms, and offices that are located near highways and roads because it can efficiently blot out the noise from passing vehicles. Additionally, it is specifically designed to keep out hot air and dust, while ensuring air circulation by keeping the window in a tilted position.”

“This value-added function makes it ideal and useful here in the Middle East. Hueck Lambda Silent Air I, indeed, epitomises Hueck Middle East’s commitment to deliver high-quality products and services to its customers. It also reflects our company’s prowess in design and engineering, technical support, product knowledge, fabrication, supervision, and installation,” he adds.

Achieving sound insulation figures of up to 31 decibels (dB) in a tilted position (50 mm opening width) and 45 dB in the closed position, Hueck Lambda Silent Air I has an effective noise reduction feature, making it suitable for buildings located near highways and roads.

As the system effectively reduces noise while providing natural ventilation, installing the product in bedrooms, living rooms, and offices leads to greater quality of life at home and at work, he says.

The company points out that being completely cut off from outdoor noise results in a feeling of isolation for many people and causes noises from the building’s interior to seem more intense. With Hueck Lambda Silent Air I, however, there is no unpleasant feeling of being ‘trapped in’ acoustically.

This is an attractive alternative to impact panes or double windows and is compatible with the Hueck Lambda window systems. It can be an individual solution or in combination with roof or bottom light windows. It has a bottom light window, tilted and side-hung configuration.

Hueck Lambda Silent Air I’s technical features include acoustic foam abd seats, frame, coverage of absorber chamber, ventilation duct, and sash. Requiring a building depth of 90 mm for installation, it has a heat transition coefficient, Uw ≥ 0,97 W/sq m K; sound insulation class 2 in tilted configuration and a measured air volume flow, 10,7 cu m/h by 2 Pa pressure difference (depending on ventilation cross-section).

Al Mekdad points out that the new office in Dubai was opened in line with the company’s efforts to improve customer experience, enhance its profitability prospects and strengthen the brand in the UAE and the rest of the Middle East.

Hueck Middle East is also committed to investing in new resources and training centres; fresh inventory of aluminium systems, hardware and required accessories; and best-in-class technical and after-sales support to achieve a seamless customer interface.

The company hopes that all these efforts will help it achieve a 50 per cent increase in sales growth on a year-on-year (y-o-y) basis for the next three years.
