Qatar’s Manateq has revealed designs for offices, warehouses, showrooms and housing facilities at logistics projects coming up in the southern part of the country.

The designs are for 1,000-sq-m and 2,000-sq-m plots, and will be provided to developers free of cost in order to save time and efforts, The Peninsula reported.

The Southern Region Logistic Projects, which spreads over southern Al Wakra, Birkat Al Awamir and Aba Salil, will include warehousing facilities for cars, assembly units, cold storage, shops and showrooms, commercial offices, labour camps and workshops.

Manateq has also signed memorandums of understanding (MoU) with International Islamic (Qatar International Islamic Bank) and Barwa Bank for financing the project for 10 years, said the report. Manateq is the developer and operator of specialised economic zones, logistic parks, and warehousing parks in Qatar.
