Kuwait-based equipment rental and logistics service provider Jassim Transport & Stevedoring Company (JTC) has put a brand new Demag CC 3800-1 lattice boom crawler crane, manufactured by Terex Cranes, into service.

The crane was handed over by Terex Cranes senior sales manager Joerg Mueller to JTC chief executive officer Adel Kohari at a key ceremony held in Kuwait.

“The CC 3800-1 enhances JTC’s lifting capabilities over our Demag CC 2200, and this will put us in a position to meet the needs of our customers in the oil and gas industries even better in the future,” remarked Kohari.

JTC, he stated, is an important player in the equipment leasing, transportation, and logistics industries in Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

“The CC 3800-1 was put to work immediately after delivery and passed its first test with flying colours involved in successful lift operation of a heat exchanger as part of a large-scale oil and gas project,” he added.
