Gulf Construction Expo 2019 continues to build on its image as the leading construction and building expo in the Northern Gulf region, showcasing some of the latest innovative products and services available worldwide.

It is co-located with two other leading fairs – Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo – providing an integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors, according to Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE), the event organiser.

Gulf Construction Expo is being held from April 23 to 25 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“Gulf Construction Expo continues to deliver a dedicated showcase for the construction sector attracting a targeted visitor base of property developers, interior designers, architects, consultants and contractors, procurement managers and investors from around the GCC,” says Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of HCE.

This trade fair is of particular importance keeping in view the geographical location of Bahrain as a gateway to the biggest economy in the region, Saudi Arabia, and the country’s own growing construction sector, he adds.

The total value of ongoing projects in the GCC region stands at $2.6 trillion, with Saudi Arabia accounting for $875 billion. Last year, Bahrain was to spend more than $6 billion on construction projects.

A key incentive for exhibitions and trade visitors this year will be the participation of companies from Saudi Arabia and around the world, says Abdulrahman.

Gulf Construction Expo is strategically backed by Haji Hassan and Tamkeen, in addition to having the support of Universal Rolling (Unirol) as the Steel Products sponsor and Amna Politerm Blu leading the Green Technology sector in construction and building materials.

The trade event also has the support of leading publication and trade journals in the region, including the Gulf Construction magazine.

Meanwhile, Hempel Paints, a global leader in coatings supplier, has renewed its strategic sponsorship for the Interiors Expo 2019.

Jamil Matraji, area sales manager for Hempel Paints, says: “The Interiors Expo is an important date in our marketing calendar. The event provides us with not only the advantage of being able to meet our existing and potential customers but to reinforce Hempel Paints’ leading brand presence for the real estate and construction sectors of the Middle East.”

Interiors Expo will also host ‘On the Wall 2’, the second edition of the dedicated event promoting more than 30 Bahrain and GCC artists to a wider audience. On the Wall 2 will feature exclusive artist-led workshops on calligraphy and live painting and creativity sessions.

The third in the trio of events, the Gulf Property Show will host international developments in the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Cyprus, Germany, Turkey, Egypt and the UK.  The properties in Cyprus carry the added advantage of the possibility of EU residency.

Exhibitions director Ahmed Suleiman comments: “The Gulf Property Show has established a strong reputation as a platform where investment is actually transacted. The attraction of international developers is a vote of confidence in the show and Bahrain as a venue for regulated real estate investment.”

Gulf Property Show 2019 carries the strategic sponsorship of Diyar Al Muharraq, Manara Developments, Bin Faqeeh Real Estate Investment and Edamah.

Other sponsors include Bahrain Marina and Kooheji Golden Gate as Diamond sponsors and El Mercado as Gold sponsor.

The Gulf Property Show has received the strategic organisational support of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority of Bahrain (RERA), Survey and Land Regulatory Bureau (SLRB) Urban Planning and Development Authority of Bahrain and Bahrain Property Developers Association (BaPDA).
