Mjor companies operating within Poland’s windows and doors sector confirmed their keenness to penetrate the GCC market when Gulf Construction visited their factories earlier this year.

Among them was Mirox, which manufactures high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and aluminium windows and doors that not only offer huge energy-saving, but come with increased safety and fit every budget.

The company produces exterior doors in standard and exclusive fittings, in addition to steel doors and garage doors.

Mirox’s windows systems offer energy savings, noise protection and increased security against burglary.

“Complementing the window systems are accessories such as window sills, mosquito nets, roller blinds and awnings. These can be adapted to  any window type, wall colour, and interior style and furnishing,” says Magdalena Dabrowska, Mirox’s commercial attaché.

Mirox started production of PVC windows and doors in the early 90s.

 

Aluplast

Meanwhile, Alupast is the biggest supplier of PVC-u window profiles systems in the Polish market and more than 200 certified window manufacturers produce PVC-u windows and doors based on the aluplast systems. Established in 1995 in Poznan, it continues to grow and innovate.

Stanislaw Lisowski, the company’s export director says a cornerstone of the company’s philosophy is innovation.

“Practically every year, new solutions are launched into the market, allowing window manufacturers to be more competitive,” says Lisowski.

He adds that continuous investments in technology and research ensure the highest technical level of its solutions.

Aluplast products have been recognised through a number of prestigious awards including Poznan International Fair Gold Medal, Building Brand of the Year, etc. The company is also a founding member of the Union of Manufacturers, Suppliers and Distributors of Polish Windows and Doors.

 

Poz Bud

Among the most modern joineries in Poland is Poz Bud, which is seen to pose serious competition in the window production industry throughout Europe. The company produces perfectly finished wooden doors and windows. Its production received a boost in 2008-2011 after it procured the Weinig UV Matic production line - the first of its type in Poland and one of 10 in Europe at that time.

“The line allows simultaneous production of six different types of window profiles with almost complete automation, high precision and efficiency,” says a company spokesman.

It has a state-of-the-art line for the production of wooden floor panels, in addition to production lines for painting, fitting and glazing.

“We have become the most modern producer of wooden door and window joinery in Poland and are at the forefront in Europe,” the spokesman says.
