Al Bustan Construction Company is to carry out land levelling works in the logistics area of Port of Duqm.

Oman’s Special Economic Zone Authority at Duqm (Sezad) has signed six agreements to strengthen infrastructure across the economic zone.

The agreements were signed by Sezad chairman Yahya bin Said bin Abdullah Al Jabri. Under these agreements, Al Bustan Construction Company has been appointed to carry out land levelling works in the logistics area (A) Port of Duqm; A A W and Partners Consulting Engineers willl provide  consultancy services for design and supervision of the execution of the internal roads project in the Rocks Garden; Conser & Partners Engineering Services will provide consultancy services for the design and supervision of the implementation of the second package of the dual carriageway of Sultan Saeed bin Tiamor road project (National Road 32 in Duqm); and National Engineering Office will provide consultancy services for design and supervision of the implementation of a road linking Duqm Airport to the Ra’s Markaz.

The signed agreements included also design and construction of a sewage treatment plant in Duqm, which will be implemented by Lal Bakhsh and Voltas Engineering and Trading Services Company.

Meanwhile, Al Jabri also signed an agreement with Grand Enterprises Company for management, operation and maintenance of lighting posts in Duqm. The agreement also provides that a store will be established for maintaining the equipment and tools for the project.
