Dazzini Macchine, a top manufacturer of a wide range of equipment and accessories for quarry operations and an exhibitor at Carrara Marmotec, has a major presence in the Middle East with more than 100 units in operation in one of the GCC’s biggest stone markets, Oman.

Besides the sultanate, the company has machines working in Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar and also its other big regional market, Iran, stated Dr Carlo Scaletti, the head of its sales unit.

In Oman, Dazzini is working with 80 per cent of the companies in the market, he claims. Its chainsaw, drilling and diamond wire saw machines are much in demand in the country, he added.

“Dazzini machines distinguish themselves for their reliability, robustness and productivity. They work in the most important quarries in Carrara, the world centre of marble excavation, and are widely known for their quality features,” explained Dr Scaletti.

Dazzini, originally a workshop placed in the hearth of Carrara quarries, is today one of the leading companies in marble and granite excavation technology, working in this field for about 40 years.

 Dr Scaletti pointed out that a focus on continuous research allows the group to be always a step ahead in technologic improvements.

Amid a tough economic climate, the Italian group has still been able to retain its key market, said the top official.

“This is mainly because of our competitive pricing. We practise centralised marketing with each of our collaborators, foreign offices and agents worldwide in order to guarantee low overhead prices,” he pointed out.

Another major reason for the success is its hitech solutions, said Dr Scaletti, adding that due to a rigorous studies and technical trials on the field, Dazzini has the most advanced machines in the market.

“This allows the operator to work in the safest conditions with low consumption of energy and tools, he added.

According to him, quality is the main strength of Dazzini products. “Every electronic or mechanical component used in the manufacturing of our machines is chosen from the leading brands in the international market,” Dr Scalletti stated.

“Moreover, we personally test every machine we produce before delivery. The prime ones include loaders, excavators and other blocks handling equipment; air compressors; electric generating sets besides hoisting equipment (derrick and bridge cranes),” he added.
