CDE to demonstrate washing technology capabilities

October 2015

CDE, a leading supplier of washing equipment for quarries and mines, is set to host the last in its series of global demonstration events showcasing its latest washing technology in Texas, US, at the end of this month (October 27 to 29).

At the event, participants can witness its new sand and gravel washing plant in action at its client Metroplex Sand & Gravel’s facilities. The equipment that has been installed on site includes a M4500 modular wash plant, which integrates feeding, screening, sand washing and stockpiling on a compact chassis. The unit includes a CFCU (counter flow classification unit), which ensures production of sand to the exact specification required by the customer.

Other equipment on site includes AggMax portable logwasher, a modular unit which integrates scrubbing, sizing and sand recovery to ensure the production of clean, washed aggregates; and AquaCycle thickener, which accepts waste water from the wash plant and achieves 90 per cent water recycling. As part of the series of events which were held last month, CDE demonstrated  its 300-tonnes-per-hour waste recycling plant in Norway, new sand and gravel washing plant in England, and new mobile washing plant in France.
