Key Bangkok events in September

Thailand's Ministry of Commerce has joined hands with leading players in the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC-R) industry and electric and electronics sector to host two major events in Bangkok next month.

Bangkok Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air-conditioning 2019 (Bangkok RHVAC 2019) and Bangkok Electric and Electronics 2019 (Bangkok E&E 2019) are being organised by the Thai Department of International Trade Promotion (DIPT) a unit of the commerce ministry, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Bitec), Bangna,  from September 25 to 28.

Wittayakorn Maneenet, deputy director general of DIPT, expects over 400 exhibitors this year at the events which will also host business presentations, and seminars.

 

Masy unveils architectural products

Masy International, a provider of optimal solutions for architectural products in Bahrain and the region, recently hosted a presentation of its premium architectural products in Manama.

More than 100 professionals and executives besides architects, developers and contractors from UAP Bahrain Chapter, took part in the event held at the Ramada Downtown Hotel.

The presentation was aimed at addressing architectural and engineering demands on safety, quality and durability, current market options and providing solutions for overcoming challenges; meeting and surpassing building codes and standards in glass handrail.

It focused on the latest architectural and engineering product and services by Q-Railing to solve current glass handrail safety and quality issues.

 

Urban transportation in focus

With the booming population within urban settings posing real-life challenges to mobility, governments across the globe are implementing innovative approaches including use of Internet of Things (IoT) to tackle urban transport challenges, said a report, released ahead of the sixth edition of Arab Future Cities Summit 2019.

A major event for the Arab World, the summit is being held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Infrastructure Development from September 16 to 17 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai.

The summit will draw more than 300 senior level executives and decision-makers integral to Dubai’s smart city development, who will discuss several key issues related to urban transportation.
