RTA upgrades traffic system

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that its ‘Intelligent Traffic Systems’ expansion project has reached 65 per cent completion in line with the emirate’s goal to become the smartest city in the world, said a Wam news agency report.

It will expand the coverage of Dubai’s roads by Intelligent Traffic Systems from the present 11 per cent to 60 per cent, and cut the time of detecting accidents and congestion build-up on roads through quick-response smart systems mechanisms.

The Intelligent Traffic Systems expansion project comprises five packages, including civil works for the extension of the fibre optic network and construction of a new traffic control centre.

Maintenance solutions unveiled

SSH lead consultant for Sunset

Sunset, the second cluster of residential lifestyle homes at Emaar’s Creek Beach District in Dubai, is making progress with SSH acting as lead consultant on the development.
