A consortium of L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE) and EMAS AMC  (a Subsea7 company) has been awarded a large (valued at between $350 million and $700 million) engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI)  project consisting of 28 offshore jackets by Saudi Aramco.

The offshore jackets are in Zuluf, Marjan, Sfaniya and Ribyan offshore fields of Saudi Arabia.

LTHE’s fabrication facilities in the Middle East and India are fully equipped to execute these challenging projects.

LTHE is a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a leader in construction and financial services, and is based in Mumbai, India.

Meanwhile, another L&T subsidiary Larsen & Toubro Saudi Arabia has recently inducted 13 Saudi engineering graduates as a part of its Graduate Engineer Training (GET) programme.

The first batch of 15 Saudis had been absorbed last year. The initiative is driven by the Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business vertical of L&T’s construction arm.  This initiative of LTSA-PT&D has been designed in deference to other important countrywide initiatives like Saudisation, aimed to provide more employment opportunities to nationals and integral to Saudi Vision 2030 and In-Kingdom Total Value Add Program (IKTVA).
