Artistic interiors from AlArabi

AlArabi has created some of the most majestic interiors in the region.

AlArabi has become synonymous for top-quality decorative gypsum ceiling works, says the Saudi-based AlArabi Decoration Establishment, one of the leading companies in the Middle East for decoration and finishings.

“Since its establishment in 1982 – by a group of Italian interior decor specialists – AlArabi has produced and installed decorative gypsum ceilings in hundreds of the most prestigious projects in Europe, Asia and Africa,” says general manager Renato Zimmerman.
The Jeddah-based firm, which has built up a reputation for offering quality solutions and a high standard of workmanship in interior gypsum decoration over the two-decade period, looks forward to strengthening its presence in the region.
AlArabi’s reputation and its unrivalled references have helped it secure most of the major projects in Saudi Arabia, he says.
The artistic and decorative work of AlArabi can be seen at royal and presidential palaces, wedding halls and convention centres, deluxe hotels, shopping centres and mosques in Asia, Africa and Europe.
The firm also provides decor solutions for private villas in the Gulf, mainly in Saudi Arabia, where it is currently working on 25 projects, and in Kuwait where the company is handling six projects at the moment.
AlArabi – which is owned by Shaikh Faisal Kamal Adham and run by a European management – has project managers and supervisors from Spain and Italy to lend their expertise to the various projects. With its artists and artisans (more than 1,000 specialists), AlArabi is by far the largest company of its kind in the region and probably one of the largest in the world, Zimmerman claims.
AlArabi provides a wide range of services, which cover design and consultancy for gypsum and painting work, including marbling, gold leafing, special applications, trompe l’oeil and artistic works, tiling for domes and swimming pools, as well as mosaics for fountains and murals.
AlArabi has completed major projects in Saudi Arabia (Dhahran International Airport and royal palaces, Hilton Hotel, Leylaty ballroom), Lebanon (Casino and private villas), Ethiopia (Sheraton Hotel), Kazakhstan (presidential palace and parliament house), Kuwait (Waterfront Phase III, IV and V), Egypt (Meridien Hotel and Casino, France (a private hotel in Paris) and Spain (the Royal Palace in Marbella).
