Danway, one of the premier engineering groups in the UAE, has recently entered into a business partnership with Erskine Systems Limited (ESL), a division of TT electronics of the UK.

This is the first time that ESL has introduced such a partnership to the Middle East market. The partnership will provide both parties with the opportunity to enter new markets, and provide customers with a comprehensive local after-sales support facility.
Hussain Al Nowais, chairman of Danway, says that this key partnership further strengthens the company’s foray into expanding the local value addition.
Under the terms of the partnership, Danway will provide the local assembly, installation, test and commissioning of switchmode rectifiers and system management products supplied by ESL.
As a key systems house in the electricity generation and distribution, petrochemical communications, and defence sectors, Danway, has been selling the full range of ESL thyristor-controlled industrial battery chargers and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) in the region for 20 years.
The new agreement covers switchmode DC power systems deploying the latest technologies in the field of rectifier design and systems management, strengthening both Erskine and Danway’s position in the communications market.
“The latest Erskine switchmode rectifiers offer incredibly high power density, amongst the best available for today’s communication markets,” says Nowais. “These products are designed as part of a flexible, modular, and power system building approach that allows Danway to supply standard systems up to 10,000A, and can be customised to suit client specifications with minimum delay.”
