Sharjah-based Mohamed Abdulrahman Al Bahar recently handed over a rebuilt quarry truck to Doha Quarry in Fujairah, through the Cat Certified Rebuild Power Train programme.

Dubai’s authorities have given the green light for a complex of towers inspired by characters from Arabian Nights, including Aladdin and Sinbad the Sailor. Aladdin City, to take shape at the prime location of Dubai Creek in Al Regga, will comprise three towers with commercial and hotel space.

Union Properties, a leading player in the region, has started work on the third phase of its 1.48 million-sq-ft master-development, Green Community, in Dubai.  This will see the addition of 227 units, of which 210 are townhouses, and a dedicated retail space, reported the Gulf News.

Doosan Construction Equipment has opened a new Parts Distribution Centre (PDC) for Bobcat and Doosan Portable Power products in Dubai.  The new PDC is a collaboration with Agility, a leading global logistics provider, which is hosting and managing the new facility located in Jebel Ali Free Zone.
