Trowers & Hamlins playing key role at Bahrain property expo

International law firm Trowers & Hamlins is set to join the 12th edition of Bipex property exhibition to moderate, and lead an all-star CEO panel discussion on the ‘Future of real estate’ at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The session kicks off on Sunday on the sidelines of the Bipex, which is being held from December 7 to 9 under the patronage of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain.

It comes as part of a two-day conference that will address a broad range of conceptual and practical issues relating to residential and commercial real estate.

A UK-based group, Trowers & Hamlins has offices throughout the UK, Middle East and the Far East.
It works for a significant number of financial institutions, major family businesses, real estate developers, private equity firms and investment boutiques.

The firm is involved in advising on the core of Bahrain's critical infrastructure - from its airport to its bus network to its power plants.

In addition, they have advised on the majority of the island's major development projects and the first ever housing PPP.

Abdul Haq Mohammed, the international managing partner at Trowers & Hamlins, will be moderating the session. He is a specialist in real estate development and investment, PPP and concession arrangements relating to urban and transport-related development, and strategic legal advice.

Additionally, he has advised on property restructurings and the creation of regulatory frameworks in various aspects of the property industry, as well as the structuring of real estate-backed investment.

The top panelists will be at the Bipex Conference’s inaugural session to share insights on how to structure the future of real estate. It will provide the perfect stage for investors, builders and buyers to discuss the difficulties facing the industry.
