Emirates District Cooling (Emicool), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, has announced a 7 per cent discount on declared load for the three-month period from August to October, across its commercial, residential and industrial sectors. 
 
A leading district cooling service provider in the region, Emicool said with the current total operating capacity of 355,000 tonnes of refrigeration (RT), Phase Two of the stimulus package will be applicable for customers’ falling under identified concession areas amongst its portfolio.
 
CEO Dr Adib Moubadder said: "Emicool’s efforts are always directed towards continuous coordination with our partners in the private and public sectors to maintain a safe economic climate and a thriving business sector in Dubai."
 
"Our current initiative is a translation of the directives of the government and is re-introduced with the aim of supporting companies, residents and the business sectors, enhance financial liquidity and mitigate the effects of the current economic situation," noted Moubadder.
