The Saudi government is presently working on development projects worth more than SR1.8 billion ($480 million) at Al Leith and Adham in the western region, said a report.

The ongoing projects in Al Leith include the construction of transformer station besides the building, repair and expansion of major roads and setting up of a social security office and technical college, reported Arab News.

Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the adviser to King Salman and governor of Makkah Region, visited the project sites to study their progress, it stated.

In Adham, Prince Khalid reviewed recent development projects, which included the asphalting, lighting, flood-prevention works, and the establishment of public facilities and playgrounds, it added.
