ZonesCorp, a top developer of purpose-built industrial zones in the UAE, has demonstrated its on-going commitment to internationally recognised best practice and excellence, by successfully acquiring five ISO certifications for its operations.

This follows the development, documentation and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated management system for quality, and environmental management systems (MS) according to the latest versions of 2015, and occupational health and safety MS OHSAS 18001:2007, and the integration of the three systems as per the international standard Pas 99, beside the ISO 27001:2013 for information security MS, said a statement from ZonesCorp.

The MS were internally developed and documented and implemented by the ZonesCorp team as result of couple of months of serious and great team work, the scope of certification covers all the main operational areas after being externally audited by French conformity assessment firm Bureau Veritas, it said.

In addition to the in-house development of management systems, ZonesCorp has built an internal audit team that will monitor the system implementation and delivery of services across the business in an internal audit on quarterly basis, advising improvements corrective action as required, it added.  

ISO certifications are international recognised standards relating to the various areas of the operation of an organisation. Specifically ZonesCorp’s certifications relate to quality of customer service (ISO 9001), environmental standards (ISO 14001), occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001) and information security (ISO 27001).

The certification means that ZonesCorp has been assessed against internationally recognised standards and operates to the highest levels of quality and service. Certification is part of ZonesCorp’s continual commitment to improving resource efficiency, reducing waste, and driving down costs as well as promoting a best practice working environment.
