Serco, an international service provider of outsourced services, said it has secured an integrated facilities services contract from UAE-based Aldar Properties.

In the Middle East, Serco employs more than 4,500 people across five countries - Bahrain, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE - and constantly monitors emerging markets in the region for new entry opportunities.

Under the five-year contract, Serco will deliver a full range of integrated facilities services across some of Aldar's iconic commercial properties in Abu Dhabi, said the company in a statement.

The Aldar facilities management contract builds on Serco Middle East’s existing FM presence across multiple sectors including education, healthcare, defence and commercial real estate, and on the company’s 70-year plus presence in the region, it stated.

Joe Boyle, the managing director of Serco Middle East’s integrated facilities services sector, said: "Aldar has chosen Serco after an intense, detailed and highly competitive procurement process. We are very proud to have ultimately been selected and are very excited by this new opportunity."

"Our expanding presence in Abu Dhabi comes down to developing long-standing partnerships with extraordinary clients like Aldar," remarked Boyle.

"Serco Middle East continues to be a partner of choice as we excel in building robust solutions founded on quality of service, innovation and trust," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
