Robust range ... dust filter systems for crushers and concrete placing booms (below).

SAUDI-BASED Al Kifah Construction Equipment (KiCE) has expanded its product portfolio through an agency agreement with Truemax Machinery and Equipment Company of China.

The leading specialist in construction and heavy equipment now has three key products from Truemax – concrete placing booms, stationary concrete pumps and dust filter systems for crushers – added to its product range.

The concrete booms are available in sizes of 10, 13, 15, 17, 28 and 32 m and three or four arms. “These machines are considered to be among the most robust in the market as they can pump concrete to high levels. They are available at affordable prices and are easy to operate, making them suitable for use in high-rise buildings,” says Rashad Kreidieh, sales director of KiCE, an affiliate of Al Kifah Building Materials Company (AKBMC).

The range includes a spider-type placing boom, which facilitates access to difficult-to-reach areas in large construction sites or where using hydraulic climbing placing booms would be time consuming and labour intensive, he says. It is also useful in producing precast units in specially-requested design.

“The distributor unit of the equipment can be conveniently moved to different sites owing to its small volume and the possibility to rotate it by 360 degrees,” he adds.

The stationary pumps from Truemax include the TM90D-20, TM90D-18, TM50D, TM30D and TM15D. They feature flexible and easily controlled valves that can be switched from high to low pressure and adjusted to worksite requirements. The tube need not be dismantled, which helps avoid pollution. Powered by a 250 hp engine, the pumps have state-of-the-art controls that can change direction hydraulically without using electronics (except for the remote control).

Meanwhile, the filters or dust control system for crushers have been introduced in line with Al Kifah’s commitment towards protecting the environment and improving work efficiency. “The company was a pioneer in obtaining the Presidency of Meteorology and Environment approval for the installation of crushers’ filters,” he says. “Our tie-up with Truemax has now boosted our ability to provide clients with the best products, uphold environmental interests and reduce pollution by offering high-quality advanced filters to reduce dust emissions as well as maintenance requirements at crusher operations,” says Kreidieh.

The filters, which will help quarrying operations to cut pollution to internationally acceptable levels, are available in 18 sizes depending on the production capacity of the crushers.

The agency agreement will be of mutual benefit to KiCE as well as Truemax, says Kreidieh. “Al Kifah is a leader in building materials and equipment with more than 33 years of experience in its field. It enjoys a large share of the Saudi and Gulf markets. Given its reputation in the market, Truemax decided to seek Al Kifah’s co-operation to promote some of its most important products in the kingdom.”

“Both companies have wide experience in their fields and complement each other,” he continues. “KiCE’s vast experience in building equipment as well as marketing backed by its deep understanding of the Saudi and Gulf markets will help Truemax extend its reach in the region, besides benefiting from KiCE’s experience in after-sales services.”
The exclusive distributorship, which covers the Saudi market, will enable KiCE to offer a comprehensive range of construction equipment to meet the requirements of a diverse range of projects in Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on Truemax, Kreidieh says: “Products of Truemax have been granted the international certificate ISO 9001 guaranteeing quality control and are competitively priced. The company uses the best Italian and German brands for its hydraulic and electronic components with complete products being tested for at least 24 hours before delivery.”

The installation of equipment will be supervised by engineers from Truemax, which will provide a one-year guarantee on the main parts, as well as the required spare parts and technical support from engineers.

Placing booms from Truemax have already been supplied to Nesma Company and were installed on the Gosi 180-m twin-towers project in Riyadh. Another unit was supplied to Mudafir (Omraniya Readymix) in Riyadh.

Truemax is a leading company specialised in concrete pumps and engineered solutions for concrete pumping. Established in 2003, the firm is currently focusing on the Middle East to promote its products.

More than 300 Truemax machines are working at job sites in the Gulf and have been widely used in many landmark projects such as Dubai International Airport and Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE, and Olaya Tower in Riyadh,Saudi Arabia, among other projects.

Apart from Truemax, KiCE also has the exclusive dealership for Junjin pumps in the Gulf and Snowkey concrete cooling systems from Fujian Snowman Company.
