POWERSCREEN, a leading provider of mobile crushing and screening equipment in the world, has ranked Genserv of Oman as its top distributor worldwide for 2013.

The company awarded distributors for their outstanding achievements based on providing excellent customer support, meeting machine and parts sales targets, financial management and commitment to the Powerscreen brand.

The ‘Gold’ status is awarded to all top-tier distributors, with the company recognising the efforts a select group of other distributors, too.

Genserv, which secured the top spot on the scorecard for 2013, has been serving the Oman market for more than three decades and is the market leader in tracked crushing and screening plants. The company has been able to achieve and maintain this lead due to consultative selling and a strong product support team, said a spokesman for Powerscreen, which is part of the Terex Materials Processing segment of Terex Corporation.

With more than 140 machines commissioned in Oman, Genserv has successfully cut across a wide range of applications both in infrastructure as well as mining segments with the comprehensive Powerscreen product portfolio.

Meanwhile, Powerscreen in Florida, US, has been ranked second, and Duo Africa secured the third position on the scorecard for 2013. About 30 per cent of Powerscreen distributors achieved top tier ‘Gold’ status, the Powerscreen official said.
