Floors and Decks (FnD), a UAE-based specialist in the supply and installation of different types of flooring, tiles and decks, is close to completing work on two high-profile restaurants  and a villa in Dubai.

FnD’s scope of work on all these projects involves the supply and installation of art  design timber tiles and patterned timber flooring, says CEO A Vakil.

The two restaurants are located at the Four Seasons Resort, Jumeirah Beach, while the villa is located on The Palm Jumeirah.

One of the restaurants is Coya Dubai, which is being launched by the famous Coya Peruvian-themed restaurant in London, UK. FnD is supplying hand-made Italian art design tiles worth Dh400,000 ($108,873) to the Dubai outlet, which has a “unique style of flooring” and is due for completion shortly.

Work on both restaurants is valued at a total of Dh1 million ($272,255).

FnD specialises in timber flooring, art design tiles, outdoor decking, timber wall mosaic, LED (light emitting diode) lighting, outdoor furniture and innovative vases for indoors and outdoors. The company also carries out refurbishment of existing timber flooring and sports flooring.

FnD, which offers its customers a complete bespoke package which can be put together to suit a variety of budgets, recently launched a showroom in Dubai.

“Business has been good so far and the prospects are very promising as this is the only concept showroom of its kind in Dubai, where customers will find everything they need to create their dream house,” says Vakil.

“We are always looking out to add new innovative products and have recently added special design and colours of vases for plants which can be displayed both indoors and outdoors. The vases are for residential as well as commercial applications such as in hotels, lobbies, malls and parks and they incorporate a unique way of watering the plants with the help of an in-build filter system.”

Looking ahead, FnD has plans to open more concept showrooms all over the UAE in the coming year in order to reach out to more customers.

“We will also bring additional new and innovative products and concepts to the UAE,” he concludes.
