Four Seasons hotel work on track

MUBADALA, a leading investment and development company based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, says structural work on the Four Seasons hotel, its upcoming property on Al Maryah Island, has been completed and is on track for a 2016 opening.

Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts is the operator of Abu Dhabi’s first Four Seasons hotel that complements residential, leisure and commercial offerings in the emirate’s central business district, says Mubadala, which has master-planned the project.

The Abu Dhabi company is developing Al Maryah Island, an integrated, 114-hectare mixed-use development at the centre of the UAE capital. The island has been designated as Abu Dhabi’s Central Business District, modelled on the world’s leading mixed-use 24-hour financial districts.

On completion, the 34-floor hotel will consist of 190 hotel guestrooms, 54 serviced apartments, 1,290 sq m of meeting and conference facilities, along with a rooftop pool and a 300-sq-m garden looking over Al Maryah Island’s waterfront promenade.

Ali Eid AlMheiri, the executive director, Mubadala Real Estate and Infrastructure, says the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi is another important component of Al Maryah Island’s already dynamic offering.

“Located next to the central office buildings and The Galleria, and near to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, as well as new developments such as Al Maryah Central, the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi will be ideally situated for its guests to enjoy the best that Al Maryah Island has to offer,” notes AlMheiri.

With structural elements in place and a grand opening on target for the second quarter of 2016, the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi now moves forward with the completion of the façade and internal components to the hotel. The upcoming hotel will set a new standard in hospitality, combining elegant and spacious accommodation with five-star facilities in an architecturally stunning building.

Hilliana Tower ... finishing touches.

ABYAAR Real Estate Development Company says the construction work at its Hilliana Tower project located at the heart of Acacia Avenues in the Jumeirah area of Dubai, UAE, is in the final stages and is on track for completion in the third quarter of 2015.

The 28-storey Hilliana Tower, which rises to a height of 104 m, is designed to provide all the residential units with uninterrupted views of the Arabian Gulf, the iconic Burj Al Arab, and The Palm Jumeirah.

Work on the façade of the tower was completed last year, with internal construction work now nearing completion, according to senior officials of the company.

The main feature of Hilliana is its central glazed atrium, which allows clients to enjoy spectacular views across Jumeirah, they add.

Abyaar says all the residential units of the tower have been sold within a short period of time.

“We are now looking forward to the completion and delivery of the residential units of Hilliana in the third quarter of 2015. This will enable clients to enjoy the distinctive facilities, qualitative services, and the extraordinary view of the units,” says an official.

Acacia Avenues is the first project in Jumeirah that facilitates a freehold investment. The prestigious project was launched by Abyaar in 2007 on a sprawling 1.35-million-sq-ft area in Al Sufouh in the heart of Jumeirah. It provides towers and villas in a convenient and vital residential community.
