Gemini Property Developers will   soon be appointing contractors for its debut project, which will be located in Mohammed Bin Rashid City in Dubai, UAE.

The developer, which is the real estate arm of India’s Gemini Energy Group, will also be launching other new projects in the near future, it said.

“Location and exclusivity are the main factors in deciding our maiden project,” says Sailesh Jatania, Gemini Property Developers’ chief operating officer. “Our portfolio will offer a mix of apartments and townhouses to cater to the discerning customer looking for luxury at an affordable price.”

The project is being designed by Aedas Architecture, one of the world’s top five design and architecture practices, for submission to authorities. “For detailed designing, we have also engaged Dubai Consultants, a design firm established in Dubai for the past 40 years. Contractors for the project will also be appointed soon,” he says.

Describing the project, Jatania says: “Located in the heart of MBR City and close to District One, this mixed-use community offers an oasis of nature, quiet and calm along with all the ingredients of a modern life. The current project comes as a G+8 (eight storey plus ground level) residential building located in Sobha Hartland community, 3 km away from the Burj Khalifa and right next to Dubai’s Meydan One.”

The project will offer a choice of exclusively designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, a few townhouses and duplexes, as well as retail.

“Currently, the project design is with Dubai Municipality for approval while soil investigation is under way at site. We expect to break ground in January 2016 and complete the project in two years’ time thereafter.”
