Work on the new supply building at Muscat International Airport is progressing at a steady pace and the project is expected to be completed by the end of this year, said a report.

Work on packages 11 and 12 is in full swing with some parts nearing 90 per cent completion, reported the Oman Observer. Package 11 involves supply and installation of 40 aerobridges. Package 12 involves supply, design, installation and operation of aircraft maintenance hangars besides construction of air cargo terminals at Muscat and Salalah airports, said the report. 

On the progress at the air cargo terminal of Muscat airport, the contractor said steel structural work is more than 87 per cent and the civil works are under way.
