Dubai-based Damac Properties has launched a 60-storey tower housing luxury apartments as part of its Aykon City development on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai’s Golden Quadrant.

In this phase, two-bedroom units have been released on sale.

Aykon City comprises six towers: an 80-storey hotel, a 63-storey Damac Maison serviced residences, the 60-storey residential tower, a 65-storey office tower, and two 30-storey luxury residential towers.

“Taking centrestage at the development will be Aykon Dare, the next attraction for thrill-seekers in Dubai, with breathtaking views from 935 ft (285 m) above Sheikh Zayed Road, Safa Park and the Dubai Canal. In addition to this attraction, Aykon Plaza will be an elevated platform that will link the development and provide the community with beautiful areas to relax and unwind in and includes restaurants and cafes,” said Ziad El Chaar, managing director, Damac Properties.

Located on the 80th floor of the hotel, Aykon Dare will allow guests to walk around the outside of the tower’s roof for a real adventure, and offer panoramic views of the city stretching as far as the Dubai/Abu Dhabi border, including the Burj area and Business Bay. When standing on the glass-floored viewing capsule, they will be able to view directly below the Dubai Canal and Sheikh Zayed Road.

Aykon City has a sales value of Dh7.4 billion ($2 billion) with a completion date of 2021.
