Four regional firms – Kuwaiti Manager Contracting, Al Nooh Wood Design, and Modern Glass Technology of Bahrain and Espac of Saudi Arabia – have been shortlisted for the gulfBID 2016 awards in the ‘Best Stand Design’ category.

A major showcase for building materials, services and contractors involved in the building and construction sector, gulfBID is organised by Bahrain-based Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE) and held in Bahrain every year.

“The designs of this year’s nominees represent an innovative presentation to promote their products within the construction and building materials sector,” remarked exhibitions director Ahmed Suleiman.

“This year’s stand designs at gulfBID have been of a high standard, making the judge’s task difficult to decide on the final shortlist,” he added.

Meanwhile, six leading regional companies – Hempel Paints, Creative Closets, Titolo Design and Build, Mobilio Uno, Viola Décor Contracting and National Paints – have been shortlisted for this year’s gulfInteriors awards in the ‘Best Stand Design’ category. gulfInteriors, held alongside gulfBID and also organised by HCE every year, is a major showcase for the region’s growing fit-out market.

The shortlisted stand designs are available online at gulfBID and gulfInteriors via Facebook for the public to cast their vote for their choice of best stand till September 30. The winners of both the events will be honoured at HCE’s 2017 events launch reception in October.
