Work in the 300-key four-star Crowne Plaza Hotel is nearly 90 per cent complete. Being implemented under Package Seven by Larsen and Toubro (Oman), it is expected to be completed by mid-2017.

The main hotel building consists of two basements, a ground floor and five storeys. The hotel features a Thai restaurant, a swimming pool, baby pool, spa and Jacuzzi, and a 6,000-sq-m car park. 

Work is currently under way on the glitterite works, stone cladding on the external surface, and terrace waterproofing works, while internally work is progress on the tiling in the toilets, bathtubs installation, and false ceiling works.

Curtain-walling works are in progress in zone one, following completion of works in zone three of the structure.
