Real Estate

At the cutting edge

Shapoorji Pallonji (SP), one of India’s oldest business conglomerates, will utilise some of the latest technological advancements in the construction of its Imperial Avenue project in Downtown Dubai, UAE.  The 45-storey residential tower is the first real estate project by SP outside India.

Among such initiatives is the use of 6D BIM, which will be deployed for the first time in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region on the Imperial Avenue project, according to Jacob Joby, director - development at SP International Property Developers.

“6D BIM, a transformational technology, is the latest of Shapoorji Pallonji’s innovations to earn global recognition, furthering its standing as a leading innovative real estate technology company,” he says. “Moreover, 6D BIM has been introduced for the first time in the MEA in its Imperial Avenue project, which will help to bring down the maintenance cost substantially,” he said.

Imperial Avenue will offer 424 luxury homes and five levels of parking with a total built-up area of 1.4 million sq ft with 21,000 sq ft of retail space.

Among other innovative features, Joby says, greywater treatment plants will be installed as a sustainable source of water for landscapes, common areas, car wash and toilet cisterns.

Additionally, solar panels will also be installed on the roof, which will provide a centrally heated water supply in individual apartments.
